Join our own Deb Zimmerman for a hands-on session to take away the winter blues. This photography session is designed to stretch your imagination (and give you something to shoot in the cold winter days). We will be combining both still life and macro photography. As an added bonus we will have several pieces of textured or stained glass to shoot through, on or as backdrops. The creative possibilities are endless. While Macro photography is defined as photography producing photographs of small items larger than life size. Still life is defined as a collection of inanimate objects (either natural or man-made) arranged together in a specific way. In still life photography, a photographer creates an image with almost full control over lighting, composition, and mood. Because photographers directly influence the image creation process, still life photos reflect the creativity and style of the photographers themselves. The magic of still life images is that they can show us a new way of looking at the ordinary objects around us. Once they are placed into a specific arrangement and then captured, the objects take on a whole news meaning. They are imbued with life beyond the ordinary. Bring your camera, your tripod, favorite still life or macro items to share and
your.imaginations! This event is open to all at no charge
