Itinerary: Plan to meet at the parking lot at 10am. There are several loops that we can go on. Photography opportunities include landscape, plants, and birding.
PLEASE NOTE: The difficulty level is between moderate to slightly difficult depending on your fitness level. The terrain is uneven with elevations, and small rock formations to climb over.

Additional Information: With its rugged cliffs, waterfalls, and natural landscape, Nelson-Kennedy Ledges State Park provides a thrilling experience for visitors of all ages. The park’s spectacular rock formations are among the few in northern Ohio still exposed to view. Hikers will enjoy trails that take them to formations like Devil’s Icebox, Indian Pass, and Old Maid’s Kitchen. Visitors are reminded to exercise caution and stay on the trails at all times.” (taken from website). We might not visit all the sites, it depends on the group.
What to Bring: Sturdy, waterproof shoes (in case of soggy trails), insect repellant, binoculars, a tripod if you have one, a landscape lens (24-70mm), and your longest lenses for best shooting (but come along even if you don’t have one), and most importantly – an interest in nature.In addition, if you enjoy macro, they will be plenty of subjects.
